In Instantes we have an essential commitment to the Environment and its environment. We also fulfill the social obligations towards our workers, who are the most precious treasure of our company.
Irrigation
We irrigate with surface water, channeled from the neighboring mountains. We use efficient and low-consumption irrigation systems, with the fundamental objective of not underestimating a good as valuable as the water we consume.

We have the GLOBALG.A.P. and GRASP certificates, for the set of good agricultural practices, which we believe are essential and necessary today.

Ecological
We use exclusively organic products, that is, totally biological products that do not pollute either the plant or the environment.
Since we are within the Natural Park, we have the obligation to be even more careful with the entire environment that surrounds us and deeply respectful of its flora and fauna.
Our climate is ideal and very mild, this being very beneficial for a better ripening of the blueberry. There is no extreme heat in summer, due to our proximity to the coast.
All this means that we can produce a product as rich and beneficial for our health as it is… The blueberry!
Our blueberries are 100% Organic!

Workers

In the Production Unit of Instante Exótico, Lda., All employees (including all operations opened under the GLOBALG Certification. A.P.) They are treated according to the following principles, we have included the most important:
There is no discrimination (distinction, exclusion or preference) based on race, social class, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, maternity, age, political orientation, trade union membership or political party. No mandatory pregnancy or HIV testing is performed on employees.
The procedures for hiring personnel are fair and transparent, not discriminating against anyone who wants to work in the production unit for any of the aforementioned reasons.
All employees who perform work of equal value have similar rights, receive similar social benefits, and have similar working conditions and training opportunities. Similar work is paid with a similar salary.
There are no disciplinary sanctions such as corporal punishment or mental, physical or verbal abuse. Unfair deductions from wages are not made (e.g. for machine breakdowns or product shortages). When disciplinary sanctions exist, they are fair and transparent.
There is no forced labour. The family and other dependents have the right to work elsewhere. No employee is required to live in the production unit. Employees who do not live in the production unit do not suffer discrimination.
In the event of a serious accident in the production unit, employees are transported to the nearest medical treatment center.
Risk groups, such as pregnant and lactating women, employees under the age of 18 (according to legislation), employees with intellectual disabilities, or sick people, do not perform tasks that present risks to their health or safety or that are likely. Compromise their development or the safety of others. They do not work in the application of plant protection products. Underage employees do not perform overtime, in accordance with legal requirements.
